This pre-departure package puts partner wellbeing at the heart of your global mobility support policy and ensures they get off to a flying start. Intended for Companies that want to provide support to help the partner prepare well for a smooth transition to their new life abroad. Long Description The preparation phase of an international move can be challenging. This pre-departure service provides three hours access to a professional relocation coach. Guided by the relocation coach, the partner will identify potential relocation challenges and hotspots and develop strategies for managing them. The coach will answer general questions about the relocation experience and help create a preparation timeline and plan of action. The coach will also help the partner prepare psychologically for a smooth transition with a focus on managing their wellbeing. The consultation with finish with a plan for further support post arrival. What do you get Three one-hour sessions, materials and support in the following areas, as required: Identification of the potential challenges and hotspots. Development of strategies to minimise, manage or mitigate them. Identification of what needs to happen to make the move a reality and the creation of a timeline for getting the practical things done before moving day. Helpful tips and advice drawn from experience to help smooth the preparation journey. Advice on maintaining wellbeing through times of transition. Explanation of the adjustment and transition process and tips for leaving and arriving well. For partners wanting to work while abroad, an initial conversation about the partners skill/knowledge set and how they think they would like to pursue their career while abroad (further post arrival support is recommended for more support in this area). For families suggestions for supporting children and teens through the relocation process. Suggestions for starting to build social networks abroad and maintaining contacts back home.
